2018 23rd Annual Mother Lode – Murphys Ironstone Show
The Gold Ribbon is for the best standard daffodil in the show excepting the Container-Grown Section. The Rose Ribbons is for the best standard seedling exhibited by its originator excepting the Container-Grown Section. The winner of both ribbons was seedling 2-110 7W/G-G exhibited by Bob Spotts.

The Miniature Gold Ribbon is for the best miniature in the show excluding the Container-Grown Section. The Miniature Rose Ribbon is for the best miniature seedling exhibited by its originator excluding the Container-Grown Section. Winner of both ribbons was seedling JBK 12-13-02 10G-Y (‘Olumbo’ x ‘Kojak’) exhibited by Jon Kawaguchi. Green was obviously the color of the day as the Gold and Rose Ribbon winner was also green.

2018 43rd Annual Fortuna Garden Club Show
The Gold Ribbon is for the best standard daffodil in the show excluding the Container-Grown Section. The Small Growers Ribbon is for the best bloom in the Small Growers Section which is reserved for exhibitors who grow 50 or fewer different cultivars or species. The best standard bloom in the show just happened to be the best small growers bloom. It is ‘Acropolis’ 4W-O exhibited by Terri Emmons.

The Miniature Gold Ribbon is for the best miniature in the show excluding the Container-Grown Section. The winner was ‘Megalon’ 10Y-Y exhibited by Jon Kawaguchi. ‘Megalon’ is an unregistered cultivar bred by Jon. The daffodil’s seedling number is JBK 05-22-01, and it’s parentage is Zinkowski 93-30 x N. bulb. var. conspicuus.
